Also in 2024 I made a lilac and white striped cotton natural form dress. I fell in love with the fabric as soon as I saw it because 1. Stripes, and 2. the white stripes were crosshatch instead of solid fabric, making this perfect for a light summer dress. It added the perfect amount of extra detail, only obvious when up close.
I trimmed it with pulled box pleated ribbon and dyed feathers and a pair of gloves to match.
I loved this colour so much that when I came across a striped cotton shirting with almost the exact same shade I snapped it up to make my Lilac Layer Cake early bustle dress and I will be posting photos of that soon.
