There are exactly 💯 days until this year’s @victorianheritagecelebrations in @victorianoamaru and I'm starting to get excited!!! 🥳

We have buttons!!! And, to create another look (and some daytime modesty/sun protection) I made myself a gilet!

The trim is currently pinned onto the bodices but I've finished the front facing on both of them. Pretty happy with the placement of the trims so today is going to be a hand-sewing day 🪡

I've started working on the bodices for my Cherryblossom Dress - they look pretty similar at the moment (and wrinkly - no bones yet!) despite using different patterns. But, I do have different plans for them with their trims and sleeves so by the time I've finished with them they should be distinguishable from each other. At least that's the plan... 🤔
